Additional Services are supplementary services or products that can be added to your main service. Travelers can select and purchase these during the Online Checkout process, enhancing their overall experience.
These services are linked to Pricing Options, allowing you to add different Additional Services to each Pricing Option and even customize them based on specific periods (Seasonality).
How to Add Additional Services to a Pricing Option:
Follow these steps to add Additional Services to a Travel Product:
- Go to the Menu: Select "Availability & Pricing."
- Access the Products Schedules: Find the Travel Product you want to modify and click the “+” button.
- Select the Pricing Option: Go to the "Pricing Options" tab.
- Edit the Pricing Option: Click the "Edit" button next to the Pricing Option you want to update.
- Choose the Period: Specify the period for which you want to add Additional Services.
- Add Additional Services: Navigate to the "Additional Services" tab and click "Add More."
- Fill in the Fields: Complete the fields as described below.
Field Completion Guide:
- Name: Provide a short and concise name for the Additional Service (up to 3 words). This will be visible during Checkout and in the confirmation emails sent to the traveler.
- Description: Optionally, you can add a description to explain the Additional Service in detail, addressing any potential questions during Checkout.
- Minimum Quantity: Specify the minimum quantity of items that must be purchased by the traveler (if required). If a number is entered, this quantity will be automatically added to the traveler’s Checkout and cannot be removed.
- Maximum Quantity: If the Additional Service is available in limited quantities, set the maximum number of items that can be selected by the traveler. For services like "Professional Photography," you can set this field to "1" to act as an “On/Off” option.
- Amount: Enter the cost per item for this Additional Service. Note that this price is not included in the “from price” used in other system environments.
- (Optional) Custom fields for this service: If you want to add custom fields that appear only when a specific Additional Service is selected, you can do so in this section.
Important Points to Remember:
Additional Services are added individually for each Travel Product, Pricing Option, and period (seasonality). You can customize them in terms of price, description, quantity limits, and more based on your needs.
You can use the Minimum and Maximum Quantity fields in combination. For example, if there is a mandatory Additional Service that must be used during the execution of the Travel Product, you can set both the Minimum and Maximum Quantity to 1. This way, the service will be automatically added to the Checkout, and the traveler will not be able to remove it.
